Annual reports and strategic planning

Under our governing legislation, we are required to publish and present our audited annual performance report to an Annual General Meeting of beneficiaries to be held no later than 30 September.

The Trust’s audited financial performance reports can be downloaded under the annual general meeting tab.

Along with this legislative reporting, we also produce an annual report for the community covering the year in review, community distribution (grants) and a summary of the financial statements.

  • The Trust’s financial year runs from 1 April to 31 March.

  • Our statement of Investment Policies and Objectives - otherwise referred to as our SIPO - is reviewed annually.

    The SIPO sets out the objectives, policies and principles governing the Trust’s investment decisions.

    It is based on investment principles that the Trustees regard as fundamental, relevant and constant. The Trustees intent is to manage the Trust’s portfolio in accordance with these principles, regardless of cyclical ebbs and flows in the capital markets. This document is intended to ensure continuity of purpose and implementation regardless of changes in the composition of Trustees.

    This SIPO takes into account the requirements of the Greytown District Trust Lands Act 1979 (the Act) and the Trusts Act 2019.
