Education Funding Update

In December 2022 the Trust granted $61,200 to our four local education institutions under the Trust’s Education Funding category.

Below is a summary of the initiatives applied for and the amounts awarded.

• Kuranui College – $25,200 Wananga / Academy Learning

• Greytown School – $24,500 Playground Development

• Greytown Early Years – $5,000 Explorers & Mini Explorers / Professional Learning and Development

• Greytown Kindergarten – $6,500 Woodwork for Young Learners Programme

This year the amount available for education funding is $57,450 and this amount will be fully contestable.  The schools have been invited to submit their applications for their 2024 initiatives and Trustees look forward to considering these at their November Board meeting.
